Keith Novembre, CEO

Meet the Founder

As a veteran with over 22 years of service in the U.S. Army, including multiple deployments, Keith witnessed firsthand the profound impact of trauma and stress on individuals. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can have severe consequences, including increased risk of suicide.

After retiring from the Army, Keith shifted gears and started a new career in private security. Still, behind the scenes, he was fighting a different battle – one against Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. For years he struggled in silence, secretly getting treatment and trying to cope with intrusive thoughts and memories. Writing became my escape, a way to process everything. That’s when he decided to start a blog, hoping to let others know they’re not alone in their struggles. It quickly became a source of comfort and connection for others who’d gone through similar experiences, including fellow Soldiers.

As a husband and dad of four, Keith has mastered the art of thriving – and now he’s on a mission to help others do the same. He’s channeled his experiences into a passion for public speaking and mental health advocacy, dedicating himself to supporting those who struggle with their mental well-being.

He uses his passion for the outdoors not only to promote good mental health, but also to help him cope with his own struggles. Running has always been a major part of his life—until 2014, when the wear and tear from the Army caught up with him. Due to back injuries, he was unable to run. In 2025, he had minor back surgery, which was followed by major back surgery only four weeks later. Since then, Keith has been able to run again—so much so that he now runs nearly 100 miles per week and participates in ultramarathons.
